Our Founders Beliefs

Tackling the issue at its source

In certain African nations, students face the challenge of selecting their academic path during middle and high school without adequate information, particularly in the field of science. We firmly believe that addressing education in Africa should focus on the transition period between middle and high school, equipping students with comprehensive information and demystifying science, particularly STEM subjects.

The power of community

Leveraging community power is key in addressing disrupted learning in Africa. By harnessing the expertise of individuals who have studied abroad and value science-based education, promoting knowledge exchange, garnering parental support, and cultivating student resilience, we can tackle this challenge effectively.

Reaffirmation of the preponderant place of science in africa

As actors in various strategic industries related to materials and raw materials, many young Africans don't have a perfect understanding of the resources around them. In order to be able to find solutions to their environment in the future, African students must have educational content that is adapted to their environment, to the products and materials that surround them, allowing them to acquire a thorough knowledge to identify autonomous and adapted solutions.

Pria NGAMBALI #Pioneer

Starting this initiative has not been a straightforward endeavor, but with motivation, discipline, and resilience, we are gradually making progress, brick by brick

Cissé NOUBA-ISSEM #Pioneer

UPYA Center began with an email to the cohort requesting a 3D design proposal. Understanding the project and feeling indebted to the African youth, I immediately embraced it. I enjoyed working with a multicultural and ambitious team. The weekly weekend meetings posed a significant challenge, but for the ultimate goal, everything became second nature.

Chris TATHY #Pioneer

UPYA Center represents the vision of empowered African youth, a solution for the development of our beautiful continent. And I am proud to be part of this project with a competent team
